Frequently asked questions.
Pick Classic or Rush, then hit play. A color shows up on screen with six color options underneath. You have about a second to compare them directly. After that the color fades and you're going off memory. Tap the one you think is closest. You get a percentage telling you how close you were.
The closer your pick is to the real color, the more points you get. Hit several in a row and a streak multiplier kicks in, up to 5x. The accuracy percentage is Delta E, same formula Pantone uses to compare colors.
Classic: one life. You keep going until a pick is too far off. Rush: 20-second timer. Good picks add time, bad picks take it away. How much you get back depends on your accuracy. Both modes get harder the further you go.
Colors look different depending on what's around them. A dark background lets you see the actual color without other UI getting in the way.
Every color you match gets blended into one. How much each color contributes depends on how accurate that pick was. It builds over time and it's different for every player.
